TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS

  1. A £ 100 deposit will need to be paid within 5 working days upon receiving the provisional booking enquiry. This deposit can be made via direct bank transfer, or by cheque to the owner.  Upon receiving the deposit, and it clearing the owners bank account, you will receive a confirmation by email to gather further details. All booking are provisional until a deposit is received. 
  2. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of an cancellation at anytime by the hirer themselves. If the owner has to make an unlikely change to the booking, for unforeseeable circumstances, that the hirer cannot meet then the deposit may be refunded at the owners discretion.
  3. If the deposit is not received within 5 working days, without contact from the potential hirer, then it will be assumed that the hire period is no longer required and the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and hire to another party without notice.
  4. The balance of the booking is required within 6 weeks of the start of the hire agreement day, and if the balance is not received within this time frame then the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and hire to another party without notice. No deposit will be returned.
  5. Where there is less than 6 weeks from making a provisional booking enquiry the full amount of the total hire period will be payable upon booking.
  6. A security deposit of £100 will also need to be made with the balance of payment. This deposit is refundable to the hirer within 72hrs on vacating the caravan, if there is no unacceptable damage or loss. We understand fully that there maybe from time to time unfortunate mishaps and things like crockery and glasses may get broken, or little sandy feet might bounce where they should not, which is fine, but the owner reserves the right to withhold in full or a partial amount of the security deposit if they feel it is acceptable to do so. If this unlikely event this occurs then the owner will give full reasons in writing to the hirer as soon as possible. The owner also reserves the right to invoice the hirer for additional charges if they feel there is a considerable loss to their property or contents outside of the initial security deposit amount for reasons such as a) replacing items above the security deposit value ie: TV, Cooker etc through damage caused by the hire party. b) Replacing or repairing soft furnishing or fabrics due to staining or being soiled in anyway by the hire party ie: Carpets, Sofa, Beds or Mattresses, Curtains etc c) Damage to any grassed or pathed areas around the Caravan, as well as damage sustained to the Caravan itself, that has been caused by either the hire parties vehicles or the hire party themselves. d) Missing items altogether. Any disputes from the hire party must be made through the initial lead hirer within 24hrs via email to the owner. Any damage caused to any Park site facilities or neighboring Caravans and / or their land will be dealt with by the specific owner and not by the owner of the hired van in the booking agreement. If an unfortunate mishap with something in the Caravan, or the area outside the Caravan or indeed the Caravan itself does occurs then please be honest, as we aim to be honest with yourselves at all times so things can be resolved quickly, this will be very much appreciated. 
  7. All personal & bank details will be kept confidential to the Caravan owner only and deleted once all aspects of the agreement has been completed.

                                                                              CANCELLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS 

  1. In the event of cancellation by the hirer themselves for any reason the hirer must contact the owner as soon as possible via phone or email directly.  
  2. No refunds will be made to the hirer if the hirer has to leave the Caravan in an emergency in any circumstances, or the hirer decides the leave the Caravan early for any other reason. 
  3. No refunds will be made if the Park site management requests, or requires the hire party the leave the site, both in an emergency or any other situation. 
  4. No refunds will be made if the hirer's agreement is cancelled due to termination reasons such as misconduct or breaches of the peace by any of the hire party or their pets, either at the Caravan or within any other areas of the Park site. 
  5. The owner reserves the right themselves to cancel any booking at any time due to their own unforeseen circumstances, or issues at the Park site, and in the unlikely event of this happening the owner will explain the situation and look to either amend the booking with the hirer or refund accordingly. 
  6. No refunds will be made due to an act of god (ie: storms) or a Pandemic outbreak prevents the hire party reaching the Park site. 

                                                                          GENERAL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS 

  1. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are 21 years of age or above. 
  2. No large same sex groups will be accepted for bookings unfortunately due to Park site rules. 
  3. Any persons under the age of 18 years of age within the hire party must be accompanied by an adult who are of 21 years of age or above (proof of age may be requested)
  4. Only the named persons on the initial booking are to stay at the premises any time. 
  5. No additional persons are allowed to stay at the premises at any time outside of the initial number of made at time of booking
  6. The owner reserves the right to terminate the agreement at anytime if any of the hire party appear to show misconduct either within the Caravan or its surrounding  area or any other part of the Park site. The termination will be for the whole hire party.
  7. The Park site is partially residential and some people live there so please respect their privacy and also keep noise levels down, especially after 9pm. Please keep to path & road ways and do not take short cuts across neighboring properties land.
  8. All dogs MUST be kept on leads whilst being exercised around the Park site. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of the waste in the dog waste bins or the large metal bins provided around the park. 
  9. No ball games are to be played on the Park Site, including in the area of the owner Caravan.
  10. The hirer must permit the owner to enter the Caravan if there is an issue with a service such as water, gas or electric so the issue can be resolved.
  11. Access to Caravan will be from 2:30pm onwards. The Park site gates are open 24/7 during normal operation
  12. The speed limit across the Park site is 10mph. Please remember children and pets are enjoying happy holidays around all areas so respect this at all times. Failure to follow this rule may result in the Parks management requesting the owner to review terminating the hire agreement. Please stick to the roadways at all times and only park in designated parking areas, There is parking for two vehicles beside the front door side of the hired Caravan. 
  13. Departure time from the Caravan is 10:30am. Please leave the Key in the key-safe and ensure it is locked. A lost key must be reported as soon as possible and may result in delays and additional charges being made to the hirer. 
  14. In the case of maintenance requirements during the hired agreement on any of the contents of the Caravan or the Caravan itself the hirer must make the owner aware and the owner will attend the site in person, or send someone on their behalf, as soon as possible if seen necessary to look to resolve the issue. If the issue can be fixed there and then every effort will be made to do this, but the owner reserves the right to temporarily fixed an issue until further fixes can be made or items can be repaired in full or replaced. Items that may unfortunately fail during the hire agreement period (ie kettle / toaster etc) will looked to be replaced with a suitable replacement as soon as possible by the owner if notified.
  15. No Smoking, Vaping or the use of any other electronic cigarettes of any kind are to be used inside the Caravan (outside on the grassed area is fine) Please ensure that you dispose of any cigarette butts or vaping equipment in the correct manner. 
  16. Do not litter at anytime any areas of the Park Site. 
  17. The owner will not accept any liability of loss or damage to any of the hire parties personal belongings or vehicles during the total length of the hire agreement. All windows should be closed and doors locked when away from the Caravan. Vehicles should also have windows and doors closed and locked. Do not leave pets unattended in the Caravan at ANY time. Thank you.
  18. The owner will not accept any liability for accidents, injuries, illness or disease to any of the hire party or pets during the hire period, unless it is a direct proven cause relating to an issue with the caravan itself, or the contents. The hirer must notify the owner as soon as possible with details of what has happen. 
  19. If there is a suspicion of a gas leak then the hire party must evacuate the Caravan immediately and inform the owner as soon as possible. If the leak is substantial, or you are unsure then please phone 999.
  20. Complaints from neighboring caravans can be avoided by respecting the rules. If there is an unlikely dispute with any neighboring guests or residents then please remain calm and inform the owner as soon as possible whom will look to resolve the issues. Please do not engage in arguments
  21. If at any time you are asked to leave the Park site by the management for unforeseeable circumstances or emergencies please do so and inform the owner that this has happen so they can speak with the Park team. This includes if any of the hire party is asked to leave the site due to misconduct, which will result in the termination of the hire agreement. 
  22. Upon making payment in full the hirer and all the members of the hire party accept these T&C's and agree to abide by them. The owner reserves the right to review these Terms & Conditions at anytime where seen fit and necessary to do so.
